Sinusitis Treated with Pyramids

SINUSITIS is the inflammation of the paranasal sinuses, which are spaces inside the skull, through which air must circulate. They have openings that have on their walls cilia (tiny hairs) that retain a thin layer of mucus, maintaining a constant and balanced amount to keep foreign bodies to entry, such as spores, dust, bacteria, etc. A cold, a flu state, or the abundance of particles, spores, dust in suspension, etc., can stimulate the production of mucus and this is normal because the body needs to protect itself and the mucus fulfills this function, but when instead of draining the mucus properly, there is the bad habit of sucking up to retain it, instead of evacuating it (this is very common in children) blocking the entrances of the paranasal sinuses, and the mucus enters and accumulates in that paranasal space. Producing a lot of pain, interfering with normal breathing, and sometimes is recurring, appears every year and usually gets worse in cold seasons. Conjunctivitis has other etiologies, usually bacterial and rarely viral, but the effects are the same as in sinusitis.

DIAGNOSIS OF SINUSITIS

It's diagnosed as "acute" when the symptoms appear and last a month or less. In these cases, the bacterial etiology is common, and the treatment is usually with antibiotics, producing gradual drainage of the mucus.
It's considered "chronic" when it lasts more than a month, and antibiotics don't result.

THE ETIOLOGY

The causes are very diverse, but the etiology is classified as physiological or functional, depending on the bone structure, the variables of the person's environment, chronicity, and recurrence of the condition. It's usually chronic when the patient has a bone spur in the nose, (inward) If the nasal septum is deviated from birth or by injury, it isn't necessarily a cause of sinusitis, but when it's chronic it is necessary to correct that particular problem. Also, the existence of nasal polyps can complicate things, sometimes as a causative factor, other times as a mere consequence of prolonged sinusitis and nasal irritations by nose-blowing, scratching, use of inadequate tissues, etc.

The "intermediate etiology," which occurs already within the organism of the person, is usually a bacterial attack, with the opportunism of virus, as it may be due to saprophytic fungi. Without these microorganisms, it's challenging for the disease to thrive. The nasal cilia do not allow many particles to pass, therefore more difficult to cross the cilia barrier from the entrances to the paranasal sinuses. Without the action of the bacteria, the mucus will quickly clean the cavities. Some viruses are usually considered to be a cause, but in reality, they can only act as opportunistic elements after the lysate of bacteria or fungi.

In summary, the etiology can be:

1. Micro organic: The most common due to fungi, bacteria, and or viruses.

2. Functional: When the above is combined with a dysfunction such as the deviated septum or polyps.

3. Inorganic: When a lot of aspirated particles intervene that the barrier of mucus and cilia have not been able to stop. However, there have been cases of sinusitis by inhaling certain gaseous compounds. Sulfur disinfectants cause very severe but acute sinusitis, with inflammation also of the conjunctivae and the entire respiratory system. Still, this type of sinusitis disappears as the organism ejects the aspirated particles. The treatment for these cases is nasal lavage and artificial inhaling, which must be performed by an otolaryngologist, a specialized respiratory doctor.

Many external causes (initial etiology) can concur with this problem, such as chemotherapy.

TREATMENT FOR SINUSITIS

In many cases, especially acute and non-recurrent, treatments with antibiotics usually result, but in general, it becomes more challenging to treat sinusitis as any disease caused by bacteria, they develop new strains because of an abundance of antibiotics. A patient who consumes antibiotics, is in fact, a manufacturer of new strains of bacteria. Those that survive the antibiotics will get stronger, and their contagion will bring new problems to the person or other people. It doesn't happen only with bacteria, but also with fungi and viruses. Attacking microorganisms with chemicals and biological compounds, put into operation the Law of Adaptation for the benefit of these microbes.

On the other hand, the physical effect (not chemical or biological) produced by the pyramid, prevents the reproduction of these microorganisms, even without directly attacking them, but taking away the possibility of reproduction, because they can't produce entropic decomposition "putrefaction." Without putrefaction of any kind, with molecular rearrangement that doesn't allow the entropy of matter nor at the atomic level, no infectious microorganism can thrive. In sinusitis caused by non-biological agents, such as spores that cause allergies, as well as when particles or gaseous compounds cause it, the treatment is nasal washing and artificial inhalation, which must be performed by a specialized doctor. But for all biological causes, which are close to 98%, the pyramidal effect is the best curative and the best preventive. It can also be treated with anti-pyramid in short sessions of five minutes maximum, with intervals of 50 minutes, and can begin the therapy to attack with ten minutes in the first four sessions.
